For font based logo design, it is very vital to choose the color and font style because it plays a important role in the success of a logo. Most of the peoples don’t know the importance of the font style they used most simple font style. But different fonts convey separate meanings after that it is very important on choosing right font style for a logo.
Generally there are four groups of fonts i.e. Serif, Sans-serif, Script, Decorative.
Serif Fonts: This font style is non structural details on the ends of few of the strokes that create symbols and letters. The fonts which have serifs are called ‘Serif Fonts’. Generally words with Serif fonts are easier to read in print. (difficult to read in monitor if the size is small)
Sans-serif Fonts: This font style has no embellishments at the end of each ends. A font without serif is called ‘sans- serif fonts’ This style is easy to read in monitor.
Script Fonts: This type of fonts look like handwriting style, It is used mainly on perfume bottles and wedding companies.
Decorative Fonts: This font is very attractive. It is mainly used for entertainment companies. It is also used on the products for kids.
These are four groups of fonts. Always remember choosing of fonts is very essentials because it help to show emotions and act as a bridge which communicate with the onlookers. So for marketing business right fonts give creative and trendy impression.
